What’s the difference between a chiropractor and physiotherapist?
Both chiropractors and physiotherapy are professionals with the same goal. However, their training and style of therapy differ. Chiropractors use their hands to adjust the joints of your spine and limbs where signs are restricted movement are found. Physiotherapists tend to use more massage, manual therapy and exercise.

How often will I need to come?
In the beginning you will need more frequent adjustments in order to mobilise your spine and stimulate the start of improved spinal function – this will usually result in the relief of aches or pain. Repetition of the treatment at the beginning is similar to training the body to perform a new task, the more it’s done, the quicker your body is able to hold the new balanced state. The frequency of your visits is reduced as your spinal function improves.

How long will it take to get well?
Healing takes time and differs from person to person.

How much will it cost?
As every posture plan is created bespoke from individual to individual, and depends on factors such as the length of time the problem has been present, the motivation to get well, the ability to carry out home care instructions (exercises, stretches, etc.). When we don’t feel well or our health is not at 100% it is difficult to enjoy our friends, family, and pastimes. These are the things we work hard for and are most important to us. Chiropractic care is an inexpensive way of greatly boosting health and therefore enjoying life more.
